Medical ethics regulates the totality of the relationship between the patient and caregiver based on moral values and the patient's interests.

Hippocrates.

Definitions of medical ethics are not uniform. Patient rights, often enshrined in law, you will find Patient's Bills of Rights and other documents, which are based on universal values in almost every medical center. The primary consideration must always be the patient's well-being! Link: Discussions about Ethics of medicine.
