I have been advised to switch to low-fat, low-lactose milk. Is the recommendation suitable for Fibromyalgia patients as well?

I recommend that fibromyalgia patients avoid cow's milk and dairy products altogether. The fat in milk is not the main problem, but cow's milk is too rich in protein and unsuitable for patients with chronic diseases. Digestion of animal proteins puts a lot of strain on the liver and kidneys.

I recommend that you reduce or avoid consuming dairy products. They are too rich in protein and create an acidic environment in the intestines that causes gut flora imbalance and the proliferation of gastrointestinal pathogens, significantly burdening the immune system. I recommend you switch to goat milk in measured amounts. In general, low-fat dairy is unhealthy because the fat in milk improves digestion. Goat milk is usually not low in fat. It is more similar to breast milk. Apart from its distinctive taste, Its price is very high. Milk sugar (lactose) is especially harmful when it comes with concentrated protein, similar to cow's milk.
