Cheese, and meat have relatively low glycemic index and insulin index values - so are they healthy and recommended over other foods?

It is an entirely wrong and sometimes even misleading conclusion that meat and cheese are healthy due to their low glycemic and insulin index. Foods that raise blood sugar and insulin levels in a relatively moderate way - are not necessarily healthy! They are not even preferred for people with diabetes! These indices are inaccurate as they do not reflect interactions between foods (we usually eat varied food simultaneously) and disregard food sources. (Natural vs. processed)

Meat, including poultry and cheeses that are very difficult to digest, create an acidic environment for the intestines, burden the liver and kidneys in neutralizing ammonia (a breakdown product of proteins), and cause pathogens to flourish in an acidic environment of the digestive system. It is essential to emphasize that the food quality the animal receives is very significant.
