I was advised to drink lemon juice on an empty stomach in the morning. Is this a correct recommendation for IBD patients?

Patients with chronic digestive system diseases suffer from unbalanced intestinal flora, particularly acidic intestines. This simple action is highly recommended. It involves little effort and cleans the liver, kidneys, and gallbladder. Your daily routine should start with drinking lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil.

Lemon is very acidic but acts as a chemical base in our bodies. It flushes the kidneys. In the morning, squeezing a whole lemon (possibly half) and adding lukewarm water (not cold) is recommended. It is advisable to add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and drink. Apple cider vinegar cleanses the liver, and together with its effect, if you persist, it will be very noticeable. After the lemon (on an empty stomach), it is advised to drink a tablespoon of olive oil.
