Removal of the gallbladder is widespread among chronic liver patients, and it has many side effects that are mostly ignored. (Many specialists oppose this surgery.)

Chronic Gallbladder infections usually indicate lower-than-desired bile fluid production. (Bile fluid is produced in the liver.) Removing the gallbladder does not open possible obstructions in the flow of bile fluid into the duodenum. The bile fluid is a chemical alkaline. It contradicts the high acidity of the food from the stomach; among other benefits, it also lubricates the intestinal walls and prevents intestinal parasites' development. When the gallbladder is removed, the bile comes directly from the liver to the duodenum without stimulation. When you need bile to digest fatty foods, it enters the small intestine in quantities smaller than required. While it is possible to live without a gallbladder, this does not mean it is an unnecessary organ. I suggest deeper investigation and reading before concluding that this surgery is the only option. It would help if you asked for an objective opinion. (Surgeons have financial incentives.) This surgery only helps with gallbladder pain. It does not treat the causes. In effect, it just kills the messenger.
