The dedicated development of MRI devices to detect the movement of bile fluid and measure the volume of bile fluid produced and reaching the duodenum may provide essential information that does not currently exist. A decrease in the volume of bile fluid production and blockages in the bile ducts trigger chronic morbidity. Early detection of the phenomenon may provide an especially essential tool.
