Without foods rich in starch (carbohydrates), it is challenging to feel satiety over time.

Starches have been consumed as an energy source for thousands of years everywhere. Diabetes (amazingly) is not caused by natural starches but only by industrialized foods. All over Asia, you will find rice eaters. In Europe, potatoes were preferred. In America, people eat potatoes, corn, taro, and quinoa. Cereals are a common source of starch, their primary disadvantage being the gluten protein they contain, which tends to stick to the intestinal walls. In the correct dosage, no meat together! (Very acidic for the gut) There is no reason to avoid starchy foods.
