The turkey is considered the bird of America. It is rich in protein and vitamins and low in fat. Because of its high nutritional value, it is attributed as a health priority over chicken. But the correct answer depends mainly on the food the animal receives! An organic chicken grows on its natural food and will be healthier than a fattened turkey, which has eaten industrialized and processed food and vice versa. The lean meat of a turkey does not necessarily make it more nutritious. Greater protein concentration in turkey makes it harder to digest than chicken, so the answer is not unequivocal.
