Are animal tendons a recommended food?

Tendons, especially those of the legs (large joints), are healthy, especially after cooking in a pressure cooker. Tendons contain proteins, fats, minerals, and collagen, a connective tissue that contributes to skin and hair health. Tendons are not a fattening food. It should be emphasized that the quality of animal food depends on the food it receives.
