I'm 60 years old with colon cancer. My attending physician told me to avoid fatty foods. I have seen that bone marrow is highly recommended, but is it very fatty?

Bone marrow is highly recommended in your condition. It is full of nutrients, minerals, and vitamins essential for the immune system. The oiliness of the bone marrow shields the digestive system and encourages tissue regeneration. Cooking bone marrow in a rich, meat-free vegetable soup is advisable. Meat has acidic properties and is very difficult to digest. Your doctor has probably advised avoiding eating processed and industrialized fats and oils primarily found in pastries and prepared foods. These oils are very harmful and forbidden to use. In particular among cancer patients in general and gastrointestinal cancer in particular.
