Medications have only a mitigating effect; they do not solve the problem thoroughly. It is highly advisable to switch to an anti-inflammatory diet. The only treatment (invasive and costly) that may help relieve BPH is catheterization (venous) using the Gat-Goren method.

Benign prostate enlargement is a widespread phenomenon among men aged 50 and over. The phenomenon is caused by inflammatory processes that divert the flow of the hormone testosterone to the prostate instead of to the bloodstream. Medications for prolonged use have a significant inflammatory effect, as they create a heavy burden on the liver and kidneys.
