Do cancer patients, in general, and specially gastrointestinal cancer patients in need of a specially adapted diet?

The answer is “YES.” Cancer patients need a nutritious anti-inflammatory diet that supports tissue rehabilitation and strengthens the immune system. Gastrointestinal cancer patients also need an easy-to-digest diet because of the damage to the small and large intestinal walls. Doctors are often not focused on nutrition! Therefore, I recommend that cancer patients (of all kinds) seek the help of a naturopath. The idea that you can eat everything comes from a misunderstanding.

Much unprocessed natural food (preferably organic and not genetically modified) with all macronutrients and ingredients. Reduced quantities of animal protein, preferably grass-fed or organic range-free products. Many dietary fibers are mixed with natural oils and fats, enabling an effective emulsification process. Fermented products with natural live bacteria are essential for good health. Vegetables, fruits, seeds, sprouts, roots, legumes, mushrooms, beans, berries, and nuts should be very high-volume diet components.
