How many times a day should you eat? (Small and multiple meals, or large and few meals)

This is an answer to a general issue that affects everyone, including fibromyalgia patients. It is important to emphasize that the digestive system needs rest to renew itself. The digestive system is under a hefty burden, especially in the modern diet, which is industrialized and processed.

It is advisable to eat two main meals a day plus a lighter meal or snacks (for those who need them). Dinner should be easy to digest and early, maximum up to 7 P.M., because most tissue regeneration occurs during sleep. The digestive system needs constant rehabilitation, so prolonged breaks between meals are preferable to continuous eating.
