I am a 45-year-old autoimmune patient with severe gingivitis, even though I maintain excellent oral hygiene and have no dental problems.

The mouth is the gateway to the entire digestive system. It is greatly affected by an imbalance in the intestinal flora that creates inflammation in the gut, weakness, and many other symptoms, such as constipation, gas, itchy skin, and fungus in the nails and vagina. Gingivitis is treated through a balanced diet rich in dietary fiber and probiotic bacteria while reducing processed and industrialized food consumption. (Oral hygiene is essential.)

An unbalanced intestinal flora damages the already weak immune system in patients with autoimmune diseases. I recommend adopting a balanced diet, which is also suitable for patients with autoimmune diseases.
