Gallbladder infections - typical in patients with chronic liver diseases.

In patients with chronic liver diseases, it is likely to find obstruction of the bile ducts from the gallbladder to the duodenum. Gallbladder infections are a widespread phenomenon, especially in women, and have many symptoms that people often do not associate with the gallbladder, for example, migraines and sinusitis.

The gallbladder stores the bile and releases it when needed for the duodenum, mainly to digest and emulsify fatty foods. Blockage of the gallbladder violates the acid-base balance in the gut and affects the entire immune system. The most common symptoms are constipation, flatulence, nail or vaginal fungus, (in women) headaches, sinusitis, cough, and general weakness due to a load on the immune system. In acute situations, inflammation of the gallbladder causes sharp pain.
