Why surgical solutions for Crohn's disease patients (And other IBD diseases) do not solve anything in the long run. (Not recommended.)

I recommend you view the pictures in the gallery. I promise you that you will be convinced that surgery will not solve your problems; on the contrary! It will only make them worse—the risks of surgery and the prognosis of recovery. Crohn's disease patients and other chronic gastrointestinal diseases sometimes come to dangerous situations, following which doctors recommend surgery to remove the necrotic tissue.

Complications are inherent in opening the abdominal cavity of patients with infectious diseases. It is often a radical operation that requires an external exit of the intestine orifices while severely impairing the quality of life. The main problem is that the surgery does not treat the causes of the disease, but only its symptoms, so in many cases, it will take more than one operation. (Without improving the prognosis of recovery.)
