I share your sense of loss, but there is no luck here. The human body never acts randomly. Well-known physicist Albert Einstein said (in another context) that God does not play dice! (Luck) Chronic kidney disease is not an incurable disease! I recommend that you read the article in the attached link. Just for your information, complaints to the Creator about "punishing the patient" exist in most chronically ill patients, including me.
