I have had Crohn's disease for 20 years and was recommended homeopathic treatment. Is it helpful in my condition?

As someone who has tried almost every possible treatment, I have also experienced homeopathic therapy with a specialist who is also a certified physician, unfortunately, without any response. At the same time, it isn't apparent to deduce from my case regarding others.

The principles of homeopathic treatment are inconsistent with known physical or chemical principles. Homeopathic medicine is based on extreme dilution, meaning the patient receives completely distilled water. In my opinion, the therapy is based on the placebo effect. The main disadvantage is that it requires a deep, unquestioning belief in the treatment's effectiveness. At the same time, the treatment has no side effects. It is not painful, so it is worth a try for interested IBD patients.
