Discussion: Why should young Crohn's disease, Ulcerative colitis patients (under the age of 30-35), place special emphasis on the mental side?

The physiological system does not age uniformly (linearly). The immune system begins to weaken significantly between 45 and 50. Therefore, young chronic disease patients often have unresolved mental traumas subconsciously. It is advisable to emphasize that the patient usually cannot reconstruct traumatic events, as this is a repression mechanism designed to protect the person.
