Can artificial sweeteners aggravate the symptoms of chronic prostatitis?

Nutritional issues regarding Chronic Prostatitis, Epididymitis, and BPH patients.

The use of artificial sweeteners is not recommended in chronic prostatitis patients. Honey, date honey, carob powder, maple, stevia, and other natural sweeteners are preferable, even if they are not calorie-free. Non-natural substances are perceived by the body as an "external invader" and are broken down by the liver, which is forced to work hard in the modern diet. Artificial sweeteners are calorie-free but a lousy alternative because a healthy weight over time is significantly associated with good health!
