Should I avoid eating corn due to its high glycemic index?

It is recommended in chronic heart patients not to eat corn with meat and cheese. The combination is too acidic and puts much strain on the immune system.

Corn is a nutritious food with a high glycemic index (it quickly turns into sugar). It is satisfying and very nutritious. There is no problem in eating natural corn that is not genetically modified and grown without spraying harmful chemicals. The main problem is that corn is one of the most genetically engineered crops to withstand chemical spraying to grow peak crops. Organic corn is usually available at a significantly higher price than inorganic corn.
