Why do many patients with chronic kidney disease have high blood pressure?

High blood pressure is a self-defense tool the body uses to compensate for poor blood filtration capacity, especially of the kidneys and liver. When your shower is clogged due to tartar, your flow increases, and so does your body. Still, we insist on treating hypertension with various medications to lower blood pressure instead of solving the root problems that cause the kidneys to decrease output. The prolonged use of antihypertensive drugs contradicts our natural compensatory mechanism for low filtration capacity. The drugs bring a drop in blood pressure but at the cost of long-term health damage.
