What is the common explanation for very yellow and stained teeth among non-smoking chronic liver patients?

Usually, yellow and stained teeth indicate an injured liver. The liver is known to have no sensation of pain. The yellow spots are formed from an increased accumulation of bilirubin. Like jaundice on the skin, it usually appears only in advanced stages of chronic liver disease.
