Darwinian evolution was not involved with the origin of life on Earth. The premise of science was that it is possible to produce spontaneous life given basic chemicals (minerals, oxygen, ammonia, methane, CO2, and more) and an energy source (heat and lightning). The more you delve into the issue, the more you discover that the enormous complexity of DNA does not allow for spontaneous random creation.
The natural selection process has been demonstrated in many species and fossils. The reason why the Giraffe has a long neck is a result of natural selection. As long as we are talking about genetic changes (first order - no changes in the number of chromosomes), Darwinian evolution provides an excellent explanation. When you come to the evolution of different species, which have a different number of chromosomes (such as that of the human and the chimpanzee), complex problems arise from the initial simulation of the first individuals of the apes supposedly born with 46 chromosomes. (instead of 48 chromosomes in apes) Science was so convinced about the evolutionary theory that it never checked its plausibility. The fossil findings are very misleading, but they are all ancient people with 46 chromosomes.
The conclusion that humans descend from apes seemed self-evident at the time, but on closer inspection - it does not stand the test of reality! The ancient humans resemble monkeys, but the conclusion that they are a direct result of evolution from apes, which is entirely random and spontaneous, will not stand up to a much more accurate simulation.
