Why does bile fluid tend to crystallize, form gallstones and block the biliary tract?

One of the (many) functions of the liver is to produce bile fluid in large quantities of 600-800 cc daily. Damage to liver cells due to industrialized diet, anxiety and stress, viruses, and alcohol cause damage to the liver cells that lead to a change in the composition of the bile fluid, most of which are bile salt acids, fats, and cholesterol. The crystallization of bile leads to poor blood supply within the liver and a lack of bile fluid to lubricate and protect the digestive system. Gallstones are common in the modern diet, full of processed and industrialized foods. Since the liver is not pain-sensing, the patient is often unaware of his condition.
