Is it advisable to eat unsalted food to avoid high blood pressure?

The effect of salt on the increase in blood pressure is relatively moderate. Most of the salt comes from processed and industrialized foods and not from salt in home cooking. Food without salt is bland; there is no reason to eat homemade food without salt. It is essential to avoid processed and industrialized foods (a good part of the modern diet), which are highly inflammatory and worsen the symptoms of high blood pressure and high cholesterol in the blood. Aromatic salts such as Himalayan salt can be used in relatively low amounts compared to regular salt.
