If you adhere to the necessary safety rules, mainly regular drinking of natural and freshly squeezed juice and a balanced natural diet, there is no real danger of "lazy intestines." (I am probably the world champion in baking soda and coffee enemas, having had over 3,500 enemas in 10 years.)
