Excessive exercise activates the hunger hormone Ghrelin, causing an increase in appetite. Concentrated caloric expenditure has no cumulative effect when it comes to irregular activity. Therefore, anyone who plans a week of spinning with 1000 calories in each workout followed by a month of binge eating should think twice.
