Discussion: By controlling critical milestones in our lives, is it possible to dramatically change the course of our lives? A positive answer to this question supports the ability to conduct a human simulation.

The intuitive answer to a seemingly purely philosophical question is yes. Everything would probably look different if we changed 2-3 significant life decisions. The question is not strictly philosophical; it is very relevant to human simulation and partially explains the findings of quantum physics in which the future seems to impact the past! Strange as it may be, suddenly, it sounds more logical.
