Blending (due to the blades' high-speed spinning) oxidizes the antioxidants, so you lose a significant benefit. Blending does not change the volume of the ingredients; it only liquefies them, giving the advantage of containing a lot of fiber. Fresh-squeezed juice does not have much dietary fiber. (But you get a much larger quantity of other nutrients instead.) You get relatively more nutrients from juice per volume of ingredients because the juice volume shrinks by 50 - 70%. So you can drink much more than if the same ingredients were blended.
