Assuming there are intelligent aliens, are they likely to have human emotions?

Since scientists have a consensus (quite strange) about aliens, claiming that aliens have no sex and reproduce asexually. This conclusion has far-reaching significance on the structure of personality and emotions, the family unit, raising children, concern for older people, and the fabric of social life. According to our perception, negative emotions (jealousy, hate, and revenge) serve our survival. According to human perception, if the aliens do not have a problem with survival and there are unlimited resources, they need an ethical code that is not necessarily emotional.
