Discussion: Is there a link between an outbreak of epidemics (particularly viral epidemics) and natural disasters such as droughts or floods?

Natural events are directly related to the weather on Earth. Cosmic background radiation and electromagnetic solar flares affect the climate on Earth. How does radiation affect an outbreak of epidemics? One can only guess. It is, of course, advisable to research the subject in depth. Scientists have found a link between solar flares and outbreaks of viral epidemics. The link is probably in the mechanism of the mutations that viruses undergo.
