The digestive system works hard and needs an extended break to renew itself. Small portions with high frequency do not allow the digestive system to regenerate. It is advisable to eat two main meals a day plus snacks (for those who need them). Dinner should be easy to digest and early, maximum up to 7 in the evening, because most tissue regeneration occurs during sleep. The digestive system needs constant rehabilitation, so prolonged breaks between meals are preferable to continuous eating.
