Discussion: Are the superpower governments hiding decades of various findings regarding aliens and UFOs?

Without making much noise, we have entered a new era in which the U.S. government and the Department of Defense released videos of unidentified objects allegedly using non-existent technologies. No one has yet called them extraterrestrials, but the reasons are not to scare the public. As I understand it, we are in the preparatory stages of the public for a not-too-distant encounter with intelligent extraterrestrials.
