Many chronic patients (men and women) avoid sex, mainly because of decreased sexual ability. Without openness with their partner, they lose the warmth that exists in love, even without sex. Sex doesn't have to be penetrative!
Patients with chronic illnesses (men and women) need love, touch, intimacy, and sex. Even if they are not at the peak of sexual fitness, the ability to fantasize is not impaired! Love is ageless. It has no boundaries. It is not only between men and women but in every possible configuration. Love is independent of culture, color, race, religion, language, or country!
