I have severe gingivitis with bleeding and also occasional toothache. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics, but I feel bad almost immediately. Is there a temporary replacement for antibiotics?

The herbal substitutes for treating toothache are not unique to diabetes patients. At the same time, people with diabetes are advised to minimize the use of antibiotics that disrupt the balance in the intestinal flora. Those who take antibiotics must take probiotics of live bacteria orally, preferably through enemas.

You can apply two drops of eucalyptus or grapefruit seed oil (both very bitter). In that case, you will feel almost immediate relief because of eucalyptus oil's antibacterial and antiviral properties. But this is a temporary solution, not a substitute for maintaining oral hygiene and dental care.
