It is worth considering that radical surgeries that leave cancer patients with mental trauma adversely affect their ability to recover!

The patient and his family's decision to perform surgeries to remove malignant tumors or their metastases, along with severe physical damage, is a tough decision. The attending physician has enormous weight on the patient's decision, especially in life-threatening situations. Irreversible mental damage should be avoided; the patient may buy time but fade with poor quality of life and deep depression.
