Discussion: I have had chronic prostatitis for 10 years and was recommended homeopathic treatment.

As someone who has tried almost every possible treatment, I have also experienced homeopathic medicine with a specialist who is also a certified physician, unfortunately, without any response. At the same time, it isn't apparent to deduce from my case regarding others.

The principles of homeopathic treatment are inconsistent with known physical or chemical principles. Homeopathic medicine is based on extreme dilution, meaning the patient receives completely distilled water. In my opinion, the treatment is based on the placebo effect. The main disadvantage is that it requires a deep, almost unquestioning belief in the effectiveness of the treatment. At the same time, the treatment has no side effects. It is not painful, so for those who are interested, it is worth a try. I doubt chronic prostatitis can be cured only with homeopathic treatment, but trying is possible.
