Discussion: Why do women, on average, have a significantly lower probability of men dying from the coronavirus?

The aggregate data since early April 2020 shows a consistently significant gap in mortality between men and women; the phenomenon is not accidental! Women, on average, are less ill with diseases that are the risk factors for the coronavirus, but the more in-depth explanation is evolutionary. The estrogen sex hormone, mainly active in a woman's fertility age, protects their liver and thus helps to boost their immune system.
