Discussion: Why is a higher percentage of patients with thyroid autoimmune diseases (Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease) Smoking?

The thyroid gland belongs to the energy level, the 5th energy center (throat chakra). Smoking is related to energy blockages in energy centers (chakras) 4-5 — Center 5 overlaps between both. Smoking helps the patient cope with the energy blockage. All addictions, including smoking, allow the body to improve the energy flow in the specific blocked energetic center. Rehab from addiction should, therefore, eliminate the primary factor that created the need for addiction. (That is, to open the life-force energy blockages.)
