I am 40 plus years old, suffering from MS. I received recommendations and tried acupuncture, which was very painful. I immediately stopped the treatment. I am not sure if I acted right.

I have been intermittently staying in Changsha, China, due to liver cirrhosis for the past 16 years and have performed hundreds of acupuncture by different doctors, using numerous techniques. Chinese acupuncture replenishes qi life-force energy flow along the blocked (meridian) energy channel. The pain is not due to the needle's puncture but energy penetration, which usually reflects a successful treatment! At the same time, many treatments are often required to improve symptoms significantly. Acupuncture is usually not meant to be an exclusive treatment for MS but as a part of a comprehensive treatment. I recommend you read the MS and acupuncture articles in the attached links.
