Why do men consistently get more cancer on average than women?

There are attempts to explain the differences in cancer morbidity between men and women through complex genetic analysis. I want to suggest something much more intuitive. There are distinct differences in lifestyle between women and men, including employment, smoking, drinking alcohol, and more. Still, it is clear that the explanation is deeper and stems from different biological and emotional conduct. Women have emotional vulnerabilities for specific issues, but mentally, they are stronger than men in the survival context.

What gives women a longer life expectancy than men by 6-8 years also protects them from cancer. The female hormone estrogen protects a woman's liver during their reproductive years. The explanation for the phenomenon is evolutionary; women give birth and have a decisive role in raising children, especially young ones. Therefore, nature gave them a better ability to renew tissues. Better liver functions are a significant boost to the immune system.
