Social disconnection was the deciding factor in disconnecting from the natural environment that was alienated from me and living in China with my spouse. My prolonged illness forced me to spend many hours in treatments every day, for which I had to make a lot of time. The only way was through an almost complete disconnection from social life. I stayed in touch with a minimal number of people.
