Discussion: The days go by slowly, but the years go by fast! After 17 years of struggle for survival, I realized that I could soon already be considered old.

My dad (who passed away 12 years ago) was a small talker. He said this sentence and told me that troubles come in bundles, whereas good things come in individuals. Indeed, he was right! I had numerous problems, but I eventually found the good stuff—they are few but balanced against all the troubles together—I found an excellent, warm, and loving Chinese woman in these crazy, unbelievable circumstances.
