Prolonged cycling, especially with a sports seat, often very narrow, is not recommended for those who suffer from enlarged prostate problems—a widespread phenomenon among men over 50. It is due to the blockage of blood flow to the prostate (which is not very good anyway) in the sitting position on the bike.
