There are many songs about love in Chinese music, but there is almost no expression of love in words! I owe Alixin my life and regularly tell her that I love her. She laughs and smiles and loves my love words! She extends her cheek for a kiss. Honest love words strengthen the marital bond and are not superfluous, regardless of age. Excessive "talkativeness" is considered a weakness in China, but I'm not Chinese; I'm allowed to tell my wife at every opportunity that I love her very much.
