Modern psychiatry has dramatically expanded its scope of reference. At the same time, it usually (similar to physical medicine) does not understand the causes of chronic mental diseases and mental disorders, and therefore, it treats only symptoms. Psychiatry does not emphasize and cannot separate the conscious mind from the subconscious and its energetic effects on the body and mind. The treatment of mind and spirit are significantly different.
