The healthcare industry is a massive consumer of consumables, disposable kits, disposable utensils, needles, and medical equipment that do not decompose in nature and are not environmentally friendly. The sector extensively uses billions of disposable syringes for coronavirus vaccines and plastic that does not break down and is not environmentally friendly. I would expect the entire healthcare industry to set a measurable and achievable goal: by 2030, at least 80% of disposable medical equipment will be environmentally friendly.
