Prescription drug use leaflets (attached to each drug) suffer from excessive information and a lack of focus.

Prescription drug leaflets have not been refreshed in decades! This is usually a printed page in a small font with a long list of possible symptoms and contraindications. However, the average person cannot assess the drug's risk, especially for prolonged use. In an age where everyone has a smartphone and a barcode can be scanned, one could think of a much more practical level of transparency and information. Not to mention vast numbers of trees that would have been saved, about 5.5 billion prescriptions yearly. (In the United States alone) It's time for someone in the FDA and the European counterpart to wake up!
