I guess the dermatologist forbade you from overexposure to the sun and did not forbid moderate and controlled exposure. It is important to emphasize that skin cancer is not caused by sun exposure, as previously thought. The male hormone testosterone is a derivative of vitamin D. Controlled and moderate exposure (without the face and neck) can help immensely. The sun is a free resource. Dietary supplements are less effective. Adopting a diet rich in vitamin D3 (oil-soluble) would be best to receive increased protection against severe morbidity of your autoimmune disease.
